Digital Photography is a study of the digital photographic medium as artistic expression and its applications in the world of news and commercial photography. Students receive instruction in digital photography and computer applications and produce professional level projects using current digital photo and computer equipment.  An adjustable digital camera is required for this course. Some knowledge of Photoshop is helpful. Use of Macintosh provided for class instruction.Basic principles of photography. Includes instruction in camera controls, exposure controls, films, filters, flash, and composition. Laboratory includes instruction in the development of printing of black and white film. A fully adjustable 35mm camera is required.
