Featured Speaker
John Godwin, nationally-known cast member
from the hit TV series “Duck Dynasty”

John Godwin, called "Godwin" on the show is an employee at Duck Commander. Friend and employee of Duck Commander since 2002, he is a series regular on the hit A&E series Duck Dynasty. He works on building duck calls, managing supplies, and overseeing the shipping department. Godwin has starred in Duckmen 7-18, The Art of Commanding Ducks, and Best of the Duckmen as well.
Godwin not only hunts ducks but is a winner of the Crappie Masters Championship.

First time tournament participants, Jay Stone and John Godwin were the first team to make their way to the scales after fishing for only five and a half hours. Their decision to stop early paid off by weighing the top weight of the tournament with 12.30 pounds and claiming their first Crappie Masters win. The team reported catching their winning fish by long line trolling with their BnM Duck Commander Series rods, pulling Lake Fork Sickle Tail Baby Shads and Big Bite Curly Tails in 22 foot of water and catching fish at 9-foot-deep on Lake Caney. They were using Mercury Motor, Minn Kota Trolling Motor, and Humminbird Electronics. Stone and Godwin stated the key to victory was “covering lots of water and keeping their baits in the strike zone.”

Barry Morrow
“The Crappie Coach,” a retired school superintendent and wrestling coach. Morrow has guided on Lake Eufaula for eight years and now guides on Truman Lake in Missouri.  He has been featured on the Sportsmans’ Channel and has won three straight Missouri Crappie Championships. He has also won several Crappie Masters’ Events and is well-known for his ability to coach anglers in the art of crappie fishing.

Todd Huckabee
Huckabee is a longtime crappie guide on Lake Eufaula and Lake Millwood in Arkansas. Todd may be Oklahoma’s best-known crappie angler. “For most of us crappie fisherman, Todd Huckabee is a household name. He is one of the most published crappie anglers out there. After spending some time talking with him, it didn’t take me long to know why! Todd is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to catching slab crappie, and he loves to share that knowledge.” – crappiecrazie.com

Josh Jones, full-time crappie guide on several Oklahoma lakes, including Skiatook, Oologah, Birch and others. Josh is an expert in using electronic gear to locate crappie. He specializes in locating little-known crappie hotspots, like Lake Birch and Bell Cow Lake.
