Beginning Watercolor

Watercolor is capable of being a simple AND difficult medium to use and master. You will be taught basic principles of technique in creating graduating washes, resist techniques, texture, brush strokes, hard and soft edges, color mixing, and working from light to dark with an emphasis on pushing the darks to get greater illusion of depth on a 2D surface. Still life and landscapes will be the subject matter for classes.
