Applying for scholarships is a lot like applying to colleges.  You start with a large number of possibilities and narrow those down to opportunities you decide to pursue.  Then you complete and submit applications that typically include essays, and sometimes include lists of achievements that highlight your best qualities, recommendations, etc.  The information shared in this workshop will help students at all levels find scholarships to minimize the cost of obtaining a higher education and is filled with tips for preparing award-winning scholarship applications for use at any college or vocational school.  Students will also receive a workbook filled with many practical strategies to avoid accumulating excessive student loan debt!  Parents of students are encouraged to attend.
